Spread the love

Like many, Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I am always drawn to the quote by William Cullen Bryant, “Autumn: The Year’s Last, Loveliest Smile.” I cannot wait for it to arrive, not only because it is so much cooler outside, or for the pumpkin spice lattes (yes, I’m going to be a bit basic with that one!), but because I love traveling to State Parks when the leaves turn. It is just so peacefully beautiful. If you’re in or near Western New York and you haven’t visited Letchworth State Park during September or October, I highly recommend adding that to the list we have compiled! It is, by far, my favorite place to go — and now I live 5 minutes from it so I do imagine I will be taking many morning or evening strolls!

We put together this “Fall Bucket List” as a way to encourage the little ones to not only get outdoors and away from the screens, but also to attempt to bring families together who may be lost in the hustle and bustle of settling into a back-to-school routine. If you can think of anything you would love to add, please feel free to let us know in the comments!
