Summertime means lots of outdoor play. My daughter loves to run in her Little Tikes Beach Ball Sprinkler, swim in the pool, dig in the dirt, and most of all, play with bubbles. This simple bubble recipe using ingredients commonly found in a kitchen make blowing bubbles whenever your child wants a possibility.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup dish soap (any kind, we use Dawn since that’s what we use for our dishes)
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- Large mixing bowl
- Wooden Spoon
- Bubble Wands
Directions:
- In a large 5-cup container, combine all ingredients and stir well. Try not to let bubbles form in your mixture.
- Pour mixture into smaller cups for children to easily access. Use as you would store-bought bubble solution.
To make our wands, we strung pony beads onto standard size pipe cleaners leaving room at the top to bend into various sizes.
